I purchased both pens. The Pelikan has been delightful. I write a lot with it and refill at least once per week. I will buy another but a larger diameter barrell with my large hands. The Sailor has been leaking constantly and quite a disappointment.

i am very pleased with my pelican pen. i am a writer who writes first drafts long hand with a fountain pen. this is my third pelican pen. it pleasures me to write with such jewelike pen.

The first time I inked it up, the ink seeped between the outer shell and the blue and black acetone ruining the look of the pen. I spent a lot of money on this pen and I’m greatly disappointed. My green marble M105 is a better pen at a fraction of the cost.
