Moon phase and week number
The moon phase at 6 o’clock follows the lunar cycle of about 29.5 days. Separate hands show the day, the date, and the week of the year. Black numerals and hour markers stand out on the dial.
Gold PVD case
PVD bonds a thin, hard layer of gold-colored metal to the steel in a vacuum chamber. It withstands daily wear far better than plating, though solvents and hard impacts can still mark it.
Named for LZ 129 Hindenburg
LZ 129 Hindenburg entered service in 1936. Along with its sister ship, LZ 130, it was the largest rigid airship ever built, at 804 feet (245 meters) long.
The details
The Swiss Ronda 706.B quartz movement powers the hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, week number, and moon phase beneath an acrylic crystal. The gold PVD case measures 36 mm across and 10 mm thick. Water resistance is rated at 30 meters.
The brown leather strap fastens with a pin buckle. The watch is made in Germany.

Does the moon phase need adjusting?
Rarely. It follows the lunar cycle closely and needs just an occasional one-day correction.
What does the week number show?
The number of the current week of the year, read with a central hand against its own scale on the dial.
Why an acrylic crystal?
Acrylic is lighter and less brittle than glass, so a hard impact is less likely to shatter it. Light surface scratches can be buffed out.
How does it differ from 7037M-1?
7037M-1 has a Milanese mesh bracelet and a stainless steel case. Both are 36 mm across and share the Ronda 706.B.
How water resistant is it?
It’s water resistant to 30 meters, but Zeppelin advises against wearing it in the shower or tub, or swimming in the ocean with it.
