The 42 mm Zeppelin Captain Line automatic has a 24-hour subdial and small seconds on a luminous beige dial.
24-hour indication and small seconds
The 24-hour subdial tells day from night, which helps when you set the time after the watch has stopped. A second subdial shows the small seconds. Black numerals and hour markers stand out on the beige dial, which is itself luminous and helps you read the time in low light.
The details
The Japanese Miyota 82S7 automatic movement powers the hours, minutes, small seconds, and 24-hour indication, and provides a power reserve of about 40 hours. The stainless steel case measures 42 mm across and 11 mm thick, and a mineral crystal covers the dial. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters.
The brown leather strap, 22 mm at the lugs, fastens with a pin buckle. The watch is made in Germany.

What does the 24-hour subdial show?
The same time as the main hands, on a 24-hour scale. It shows whether it is morning or evening.
What is the power reserve?
About 40 hours when fully wound. Daily wear keeps the mainspring wound. After a longer period off the wrist, a few turns of the crown will restart it.
How does it differ from 8662-1 and 8662-3?
8662-1 has a silver dial. 8662-3 has a blue dial. All share the 42 mm case and the Miyota 82S7.
Where is it made?
In Germany. Zeppelin builds the watch around the Japanese Miyota 82S7 movement at its own workshop in Ruhla, Thuringia.
How water resistant is it?
It’s water resistant to 50 meters, but Zeppelin advises against wearing it in the shower or tub, or swimming in the ocean with it.

You have 30 days from delivery to return your order.
How returns work. Just let us know and we'll email you a prepaid DHL Express return label — you never have to arrange a shipment or pay anything up front. The return cost is deducted from your refund. If the piece arrived damaged or wasn't what you ordered, the return is on us.
