The Versace New V Circle sets a black guilloché center inside its white dial, with the Greca decorating that center.
The Greca on guilloché
Guilloché is a pattern of fine, repeating lines, and here it fills the black center of the white dial. The Greca, Versace’s Greek key, is a band of straight horizontal and vertical lines meeting at right angles, taken from classical Greek and Roman ornament. It has appeared in Versace collections since Fall-Winter 1988.
Gold PVD accents
Gold PVD accents mark the crown and the inner decoration, set against the stainless steel case and the silver-tone Milanese mesh bracelet. PVD bonds a thin, hard gold-colored coating to the steel in a vacuum chamber.
