Timex Waterbury Classic Day and Date Quartz Watch with White Dial.
The Waterbury line takes its name from the Waterbury Clock Company, founded in 1854 to put quality watches within reach of a wide public. The Waterbury Classic carries the stylized W of the Waterbury Watch Company on its dial and seconds hand, in stainless steel, 40 mm in diameter and 11 mm thick.
The quartz movement powers the day and date beneath the mineral crystal. INDIGLO lights the whole dial at the push of a button.
Roman numerals mark the white dial, and a black leather strap of 20 mm at the lugs is secured by a pin buckle.

What is INDIGLO?
An electroluminescent layer behind the dial. Timex developed INDIGLO in the early 1990s, and the entire face lights at the push of a button, readable in the dark where painted markers have already faded.
How does a mineral crystal hold up?
It resists scratching better than acrylic and takes an impact better than sapphire, which is brittle. A deep mark stays, so it is the crystal that asks the least of you and forgives the most.
Why is the line called Waterbury?
It takes its name from the Waterbury Clock Company of Connecticut. The crowns and the dials of the line carry the stylized W of the Waterbury Watch Company, the original Timex watch collection.
What keeps time inside it?
A quartz crystal is cut to vibrate at a fixed rate, and a circuit counts those vibrations down to step the hands once a second. It holds a few seconds a month and requires a new battery every few years.
Can you change the strap?
Yes. The lugs accept standard 20 mm spring bars, so any band of that width fits, and a watchmaker can swap it in a couple of minutes.

"Dispatched next working day" or "Only 1 left" — the piece is in our warehouse and leaves the working day after you order.
"Dispatched within X working days" — the piece is held at our secondary warehouse. We allow a few days to inspect and authenticate it before dispatch.
"Check delivery date" — the piece is available to order, but we confirm the exact date with the brand. As soon as you order, we contact the manufacturer and email you an estimated date.

You have 30 days from delivery to return your order.
How returns work. Just let us know and we'll email you a prepaid DHL Express return label — you never have to arrange a shipment or pay anything up front. The return cost is deducted from your refund. If the piece arrived damaged or wasn't what you ordered, the return is on us.
