Timex Atelier GMT24 M1a Automatic Watch with Black Dial.
The Atelier line is the Swiss Made collection of Timex, built around a skeletonized case. The Atelier GMT24 M1a sets a 24-hour GMT hand over an enamel dial. The stainless steel case measures 40 mm in diameter and 12.7 mm in thickness.
Beneath the glass-box sapphire crystal with a triple-layer anti-reflective coating, a Swiss Landeron 24 GMT automatic movement powers the hours and minutes. The crown screws down, and the exhibition case back reveals the movement.
Swiss Luminova fills the hands and markers of the black dial. A black rubber strap, measuring 20 mm at the lugs, secures the watch with a pin buckle.

How do you read the second time zone?
A fourth hand turns once a day against a 24-hour track, so home time reads off the same dial as local time and the track tells you day from night at the far end.
How hard is the sapphire crystal?
Synthetic sapphire sits at 9 on the Mohs scale, just under diamond, so the everyday abrasives that mark a mineral crystal leave it untouched. It is brittle in exchange, so a sharp knock on the edge is what to avoid.
What can you see through the back?
The movement from the bridge side. In view are the weight that winds the mainspring as the wrist moves, the gear train beneath its bridges, and the balance swinging at the far end.

How returns work. Just let us know and we'll email you a prepaid DHL Express return label — you never have to arrange a shipment or pay anything up front. The return cost is deducted from your refund. If the piece arrived damaged or wasn't what you ordered, the return is on us.
