Pelikan 800 fountain pen: a turned resin body with gold trim with a Black and green finish. Every Souverän 800 wears gold-toned trim and is made in Germany. The line runs fountain pen ballpoint and rollerball and its fountain pens step up to an 18-karat gold nib. It mounts a Pelikan nib in 18k gold rhodium plated, filled by piston filler and a screw-on cap. For reference, measures 140 mm capped with a body 15 mm in diameter. Pelikan product with official factory warranty.
Pelikan's 800 collection is characterized by its larger size compared to its predecessors. Recognizable by its double clip on the back of the barrel and cap. The piece has a Pelikan nib made of 18 karat solid gold.

Is the nib interchangeable between sizes?
All variants share the same body and only the nib size changes.
What filling system does it use?
It is filled by piston filler: the base of the body is turned to drive the internal piston and draw ink straight from a bottle, with no cartridge or converter.
What separates the 800 from the 805?
They share the same body and the same 18-karat gold nib in the fountain pens. The 800 is finished in gold-toned trim and the 805 in silver-toned metal.
How is the resin cared for?
Wipe it with a soft slightly damp cloth, avoiding solvents and abrasive products.
Is the colour uniform across the whole production?
Yes, the resin is factory-dyed in the same tone for the entire series.
What warranty does it carry?
It includes 3 years of official Pelikan warranty.

How returns work. Just let us know and we'll email you a prepaid DHL Express return label — you never have to arrange a shipment or pay anything up front. The return cost is deducted from your refund. If the piece arrived damaged or wasn't what you ordered, the return is on us.
