The Namiki Yukari Urushi Black No.20 fountain pen gives the polished lacquer itself the central role in the design. The black finish is made from sap collected from the Japanese lacquer tree, with the collection and application of urushi to the body and cap taking three months. Kokkokai artisans finish the pen using Roiro Urushi, and a gold-finished clip provides a contrasting accent to the black surface. The No.20 18k gold nib continues the design's restrained use of gold. A traditional Japanese wooden box and an inkwell complete the presentation.
Made in Japan, the pen closes with a screw-on cap and measures 149 mm capped, with a barrel width of 14.9 mm. Weight with the cap is 46.8 g.
