This is my first Cross rollerball pen. Before I always insisted on European branded fountain pen only. I have to admit that this pen exceed my expectation. The pen is nice and shiny. The vibrant colour clearly attracting attention. The combination of red, gold, and black works well and look elegant (they also signify good luck and wealth in Chinese culture); and Distinguish it from the other boring black pens. The pen balance is right with the cap on. The Townsend shape is also nice on hand when writing. The cross rollerball ink is also flowing quite nice. Giving a nice, dark, wet, bold black colour - almost as nice as my fountain pen inks. Cross also offers various inks model. I tried the felt tip one, and it was nice although it dried quickly. I dropped the pen several times, using it everyday, not much scratch so far. Few scratches due to dropping scissor on it. But otherwise it is quite resistant. The cap still work well despite I am opening and closing it several times every day for the last 6 months. I don’t like the small hole near the tip of the pen, but according to the manufacturer, it has some purpose. The service from Iguana was really nice. Overall, I glad I bought this beautiful pen from them.
