Overview
Caran d'Ache Léman Damier fountain pen set carries its checkerboard motif from an engraved cap to an embossed leather case, alongside glossy black lacquer.
Diamond-engraved checks cover the cap, setting the board-game motif against glossy varnish over the black-lacquered brass body. Rhodium-coated trim adds a metallic accent, and the hand-polished 18k gold nib has rhodium plating. The pen belongs to Léman, named for Lake Geneva.
The motif continues on a black cowhide single-pen case, embossed with checks and finished with a silver-toned interior. Its opening is inspired by eyeglass cases, and it measures 16 cm by 3.6 cm. A drawer-style gift box holds this special-edition set, with a user guide included.
A converter and two Idyllic Blue cartridges are supplied. Use the converter for bottled ink, or fit Caran d'Ache Chromatics cartridges. Designed and made in Switzerland, the pen measures 141 mm capped and 14.8 mm across the barrel, and weighs 56 g with the cap.

How returns work. Just let us know and we'll email you a prepaid DHL Express return label — you never have to arrange a shipment or pay anything up front. The return cost is deducted from your refund. If the piece arrived damaged or wasn't what you ordered, the return is on us.
