Vostok Europe Object X Automatic Watch with Blue Dial.
Limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide. The Object X line takes an unidentified celestial body as its subject and limits the edition to 1,000 pieces. The Object X cuts its dial from blue aventurine and sets four tritium blocks along a luminous X. Its case, 316L stainless steel, measures 48 mm in diameter and 16 mm in thickness.
The TMI NH35 automatic movement, made in Japan, powers the hours, minutes, seconds and date beneath a K1 crystal with anti-reflective coating, and a full wind delivers a 41-hour power reserve. The case back screws down over red-tinted glass, under a fixed black ceramic ring.
In a case finished in blue PVD, the blue aventurine dial carries a luminous X across the dial. The watch is delivered with two silicone straps, one red and one fully luminous, measuring 24 mm at the lugs, closed by a buckle.

What is Object X?
An unidentified celestial body, and the starting point of the design. The dial is cut from blue aventurine, and a luminous X crosses it with four blocks of tritium set along the line. Vostok Europe has built its watches in Vilnius, Lithuania, since August 2003, on Russian movements until 2014 and Japanese movements since.
What are the tritium blocks on the dial?
Four sealed blocks in which tritium gas makes a luminescent coating glow, continuously and with nothing to charge. The tubes are Trigalight, made by MB-microtec in Switzerland, a supplier of Vostok Europe since 2009, and after about 10 years their brightness settles at around 50 percent.
What is K1 crystal?
A synthetic crystal that combines the shock resistance of hardened mineral crystal with a scratch resistance close to sapphire. On these cases it carries an anti-reflective coating for readability.
Does it wear as big as the diameter suggests?
The distance between the lugs decides that, and here it is 58.2 mm. That span sits across the top of the wrist and matters more than the 48 mm of the case.
Who makes the movement?
Time Module Inc. in Japan, the TMI of the reference. Vostok Europe used Russian movements until 2014 and has worked with Japanese suppliers since, so the case is assembled in Lithuania around a Japanese automatic movement.
