Timing with the chronograph
The chronograph works as a stopwatch, so you can time an event from start to finish. Its counters on the black dial show the elapsed time, and the same dial also carries a date window.
The Greca on the bracelet
The Greca, Versace’s Greek key, is a band of straight horizontal and vertical lines meeting at right angles, taken from classical Greek and Roman ornament. It has appeared in Versace collections since Fall-Winter 1988, and on the Fornax it decorates the stainless steel bracelet.

The gunmetal-finished recycled steel case measures 43 mm across and 11.65 mm thick. A Swiss VEM927 quartz movement powers the chronograph and the date. A sapphire crystal covers the dial, and water resistance is rated at 50 meters.
The stainless steel bracelet fastens with a butterfly clasp. The watch is made in Switzerland.

What does the chronograph do?
It is a built-in stopwatch. You start it at the beginning of an event and stop it at the end, and the counters on the black dial show how long it took.
Is the crystal scratch-resistant?
Yes. Sapphire’s hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale makes it highly resistant to everyday scratches. It can still be scratched by harder materials, and a hard impact can chip or crack it, especially at an edge.

The case is 43 mm across and 11.65 mm thick, in recycled steel with a gunmetal finish.
How does it differ from VE0W00425?
