Welcome back to our channel. Today, we're going to talk about car brands that have ventured into the world of fashion and accessories. So, let's discuss the brands we currently have at Iguana Sell, as well as some new additions.
As you may have seen on our social media and blog, we have been featuring brands that were primarily focused on luxury car manufacturing but have expanded into fashion, watchmaking, jewelry, and even more. We've had Porsche Design with us for a while now, and recently we've added Maserati, and the latest addition is Maybach.
Why is this happening? Mainly because of the quality. These brands have a stellar reputation and are associated with luxury, which has ensured their resounding success. It's worth noting that buying a watch is much more affordable than buying a car.
Among the brands we're going to talk about, the most recent one is Maybach, which is a subsidiary of Mercedes. About ten years ago, they started venturing into the fashion world, for example, with sunglasses. Over time, they have expanded their product range, especially focusing on leather goods such as wallets, backpacks, cardholders, and even writing instruments like fountain pens and rollers— a little bit of everything.
We also have Maserati, a brand that has dedicated itself to all kinds of accessories, including masks and bottles. However, at Iguana Sell, we have focused on jewelry, such as our collection of cufflinks, and watches. Maserati offers various watch lines, from classic to modern and sporty, always featuring their distinctive trident logo.
And the last brand we'll talk about today, which is somewhat of an iconic brand, is Porsche Design. They offer accessories of all kinds: fashion accessories, clothing, even televisions and kitchen knives. But if there's one thing Porsche Design is known for, it's their watches, which perfectly represent the brand's elegance and quality.
Apart from Maybach, Porsche, and Maserati, there are other brands that are not exclusively dedicated to the automotive industry but have created collections or pieces inspired by this world. For example, one of the brands we recently added to Iguana Sell is WOLF. One of WOLF's lines that has become a true classic is the British Racing line. How did this color come about?
It's a tribute from the British team to Ireland. In 1902, a race was held, which until then had only taken place in France, and since it was illegal in the UK, Ireland offered to host the race. What happened? The UK ultimately won the race, and as a token of gratitude, they handed over the colors they competed with to Ireland, and that's why we have this distinctive green.
There are also other brands like Montjuïc that constantly draw inspiration from the automotive world. For example, their latest creation is dedicated to Fernando Alonso and is called the Bahrein Speed Chrono.
