- This ST Dupont line is designed for extreme conditions: wind, rain, cold, heat, and altitude. The lighter, from the Défi Extreme line, features a matte black TPU protective case and a window to view the gas reservoir on the side. The rigid flame is resistant to rain and wind (up to force 7 on the Beaufort scale). It is suitable for altitudes of up to 3500 meters and temperatures between -10ºC and 45ºC. Two inner pouches keep the lighter clean from ashes and impurities and make a sound if the lighter is shaken. A safety mechanism blocks the gas flow if an attempt is made to ignite it upside down to prevent accidental ignition.
