A 60-hour power reserve
When fully wound, the Miyota 8315 provides about 60 hours of power. That is enough to keep the watch going, and the date in step, for two and a half days off the wrist.
Silver on green
Silver numerals and hour markers stand out on the green dial. Luminous hands help you read the time in low light.
Named for LZ 120 Bodensee
LZ 120 Bodensee began scheduled passenger flights between Friedrichshafen and Berlin in August 1919. Bodensee is the German name for Lake Constance, the lake at Friedrichshafen.
The details
The Japanese Miyota 8315 automatic movement powers the hours, minutes, seconds, and date, and provides a 60-hour power reserve. The stainless steel case measures 40 mm across and 12 mm thick, and a hardened K1 mineral crystal covers the dial. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters.
The strap is brown leather. The watch is made in Germany.

What is the power reserve?
About 60 hours when fully wound. Daily wear keeps the mainspring wound. After a longer period off the wrist, a few turns of the crown will restart it.
What is K1 crystal?
K1 is mineral glass that has been heat-treated to harden it, so it resists scratches and impacts better than standard mineral glass. A deep scratch can’t be polished out, though.
How does it differ from 8160-5?
8160-5 has a beige dial. Both share the 40 mm case and the Miyota 8315.
Where is it made?
In Germany. Zeppelin builds the watch around the Japanese Miyota 8315 movement at its own workshop in Ruhla, Thuringia.
How water resistant is it?
It’s water resistant to 50 meters, but Zeppelin advises against wearing it in the shower or tub, or swimming in the ocean with it.

How returns work. Just let us know and we'll email you a prepaid DHL Express return label — you never have to arrange a shipment or pay anything up front. The return cost is deducted from your refund. If the piece arrived damaged or wasn't what you ordered, the return is on us.
