The Greca and Medusa
The Greca, Versace’s Greek key, is a band of straight horizontal and vertical lines meeting at right angles, taken from classical Greek and Roman ornament. It has appeared in Versace collections since Fall-Winter 1988. Medusa, the winged figure of Greek myth with snakes for hair, is the Versace emblem. Besides the Greca and Medusa, the watch has raised studs that add more relief.
The details
The gold PVD case measures 35 mm across and 8.3 mm thick. A Swiss Ronda 762.3 quartz movement powers the watch. A sapphire crystal covers the dial, and water resistance is rated at 50 meters.
The stainless steel bracelet fastens with a folding clasp. The watch is made in Switzerland.
