Timex Waterbury Heritage Chronograph matches its red anodized pusher with a perforated red leather strap, around a black-and-gold racing dial.
Black-and-gold chronograph dial
Gold-tone details and black subdials sit beneath double-domed anti-reflective K1 mineral crystal, with applied indices and luminous hands. With the chronograph, you can time each lap of a race.
Motor-racing details
A black tachymeter bezel, vertically brushed steel, and fine decoration on the crown and pushers recall classic motor racing.
The Waterbury name
The Waterbury name honors the Connecticut town where Timex began in 1854.
The details
The stainless steel case measures 39 mm across and 13.5 mm thick. Inside, a meca-quartz movement combines quartz timekeeping with a mechanical chronograph module. The leather strap measures 20 mm at the lugs and fastens with a buckle. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters, enough for light swimming. Timex advises against pressing the pushers underwater.

Does a meca-quartz chronograph need winding?
No. A battery powers the quartz timekeeping. The mechanical chronograph module operates the stopwatch, but the watch still runs on battery power and does not need automatic or manual winding.
Can I use the tachymeter without timing a known distance?
No. The scale converts a timed interval over a known distance into average speed. It is not a speed sensor and cannot calculate speed from wrist movement.

How returns work. Just let us know and we'll email you a prepaid DHL Express return label — you never have to arrange a shipment or pay anything up front. The return cost is deducted from your refund. If the piece arrived damaged or wasn't what you ordered, the return is on us.
