Timex Atelier Chronograph Quartz M1q is a Swiss-made chronograph with a black lacquered guilloché dial in an openworked steel case.
Swiss quartz chronograph
Inside is a 10-jewel Swiss Ronda 5021.D quartz movement with a 54-month battery life. It powers the date and chronograph, with 60-second and 30-minute counters. With the chronograph started at the green flag, you can time each lap from the grandstand.
Lacquered guilloché dial
Engraved guilloché catches the light beneath the lacquer, and a tachymeter scale circles the edge.
Openworked steel case
The fixed bezel has a black IP-coated steel insert. Sculpted openings in the case reveal a darker, contrasting middle section.

Giorgio Galli, chief creative director of Timex Group, designed the Atelier line, introduced in 2025.
The details
The stainless steel case measures 40 mm across and 12.7 mm thick and has a screw-down crown. Double-curved sapphire with a triple-layer anti-reflective coating covers the dial.
The 316L steel bracelet measures 20 mm at the lugs and closes with a butterfly clasp. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters, enough for snorkeling and surfing. Timex advises against pressing the pushers underwater.

Can I see the movement through the front of the openworked case?
The openings are in the case structure surrounding the solid dial. They do not expose the movement through the front in the way that a skeletonized dial would.
How do I use the tachymeter to read average speed?
Start the chronograph as you begin a measured mile or kilometer, then stop it at the end of that distance. For an interval within the scale’s range, the chronograph hand points to your average speed in miles or kilometers per hour, according to the distance you measured.

You have 30 days from delivery to return your order.
How returns work. Just let us know and we'll email you a prepaid DHL Express return label — you never have to arrange a shipment or pay anything up front. The return cost is deducted from your refund. If the piece arrived damaged or wasn't what you ordered, the return is on us.
