Dessau and the Bauhaus
Dessau, the city that gives the line its name, was home to the Bauhaus school from 1925 to 1932. The watches themselves are assembled in Ruhla, Thuringia, where watchmaking dates back to 1892.
The details
The Japanese Miyota 8215 automatic movement powers the hours, minutes, seconds, and date, and provides a 40-hour power reserve. A see-through case back reveals the rotor.
The polished stainless steel case measures 40 mm across and 11 mm thick, and a K1 mineral crystal covers the dial. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters. The dark blue leather strap, 20 mm at the lugs, fastens with a pin buckle. The watch is made in Germany.

How long does the power reserve last?
About 40 hours when fully wound. Daily wear keeps the mainspring wound. After a longer period off the wrist, a few turns of the crown will start the watch again.
What is K1 mineral crystal?
A specially hardened mineral crystal. It resists scratches better than standard mineral crystal, though sapphire is harder still.
What does the see-through case back show?
The rotor of the Miyota 8215 automatic movement. It turns as the wrist moves and winds the mainspring.
How does it differ from the 2064-4?
The 2064-4 has a dark green dial and a light brown leather strap. Both have the 40 mm case, the Miyota 8215 movement, and the gold-colored numerals.
Where is it made, and what is the warranty?
