Natural bronze develops a patina on the Visconti Homo Sapiens Lava Bronze fountain pen, whose black body blends resin with basaltic lava from Mount Etna.
The lava-and-resin body has a warm feel, set against bronze trim inspired by the Bronze Age. With use, the natural bronze takes on a patina, gradually changing the appearance of the metal details.
A 14k gold nib, a High Vacuum Power Filler for bottled ink, and a Hook Safe Lock cap equip this Italian-made fountain pen. The clip has a rotating wheel. Closed, it measures 146 mm; with the cap posted, it reaches 173.4 mm. The barrel is 14.3 mm wide, and the pen weighs 43 g with the cap or 26 g without it.
