Overview
Pilot Capless Golden Journey 2026 traces flowing gold lines across pearl-blue lacquer, drawing on the Japanese art of kintsugi for its limited edition.
Kintsugi makes a repaired seam part of an object’s beauty, and Golden Journey translates that idea into flowing golden veins against luminous pearl-blue lacquer. The lines are decoration on the brass body, with a different arrangement on each pen. Gold PVD accents continue the color of the motif, and the edition is limited to 2,026 fountain pens worldwide.
Beneath the decoration is the Capless concept Pilot introduced in 1963. A push of the button extends the 18k gold nib, and the next returns it to the barrel behind an internal shutter. The fountain pen accepts Pilot ink cartridges or a compatible converter for bottled ink.
Made in Japan, it measures 140 mm long. The barrel is 15 mm wide, and the pen weighs 30 g.
