    • The new Alpiner Heritage Carrée Automatic 140 Years recaptures the Art Deco spirit of the original model, the edition of 28 watches powered by the hand-wound Calibre 490 from 1938. They feature a minimalist rectangular case, a "sectorial" minute track typical of the 1930s accompanied by period Arabic numerals, dauphine hands and, of course, the original Alpina logo. Two vintage and authentic creations that continue to write the history of 140 years of a house in perpetual motion.

    An exquisite watch. I feel I’m a hero in an Alan Furst spy novel circa 1938.

    This beautiful Art Deco timepiece with its black face and ostrich strap is sure to announce ( not shout) quality and tastefulness. It whisks me back to the 20s and 30s. I truly love it. I check it daily to be sure I haven’t dreamed I own this superb watch.
