The Visconti Dreaming Sunflowers rollerball evokes Van Gogh’s brushwork in sculpted silver and warm enamel, with a gold-plated clip shaped like a paintbrush.
The silver barrel and cap are micro-cast using the lost-wax technique, with raised textures that echo the thick oil paint of Van Gogh’s Sunflowers. Artisans apply yellow, orange, and green enamel by hand, bringing the paintings’ warm colors to the sculpted surface.
The clip is yellow gold-plated silver shaped like a paintbrush. Van Gogh’s signature is engraved on the central ring and picked out in orange enamel. A circular-frame display stand accompanies this edition of 230 instruments, continuing the connection to painting.
It takes an original Visconti rollerball refill and closes with a screw-on cap.
Made in Italy, it measures 150 mm capped and has a barrel width of 18 mm. It weighs 136 g with the cap.
