Overview
The Scribo Feel Graniglia recalls Italian stone flooring in a mosaic of gray, blue, brown, and green resin, complemented by platinum-finished details.
Gray, blue, brown, and green resin recalls the fragments of stone in traditional Italian graniglia flooring. Platinum-finished details frame the mosaic-like color across the twelve-sided body.
Graniglia flooring reuses fragments left over from marble and stone processing, mixing them with cement, natural oxide pigments, and water. Those humble materials became decorative tiles whose borders and patterns found a place in Italian interiors. Scribo introduced this resin interpretation alongside Verde Antico, drawing on the materials and colors of the late nineteenth century.
The 18k gold nib uses an ebonite feed with two capillaries. It uses a built-in piston filling system for bottled fountain pen ink, with a capacity of 1.42 ml. A screw-on cap closes the pen.
Handmade in Italy, it measures 148 mm capped and 17 mm across the barrel, and weighs 36.50 g with the cap. Production is limited to 219 fountain pens in this color. A natural leather and cotton pen pouch is included.
