Overview
The Pilot Capless Golden Journey 2026 takes its inspiration from kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing ceramics with gold. Rather than concealing the traces of repair, the design makes golden lines part of the decoration: fine veins cross a luminous pearl-blue lacquer surface, with their arrangement varying from pen to pen. Gold PVD trim completes the finish over the brass body.
Limited to 2,026 fountain pens worldwide, Golden Journey combines that theme with the Capless retractable mechanism. One push extends the 18k gold nib for writing; the next returns it to the barrel, where an internal shutter closes over it without a separate cap.
The fountain pen accepts Pilot ink cartridges or a compatible converter for bottled fountain pen ink.
Made in Japan, it measures 140 mm long. The barrel is 15 mm wide, and the pen weighs 30 g.
