Bauhaus Aviation G38 Automatic Day-Date Watch with Blue Dial.
The Aviation G38 line sets silver luminous numerals and indices on every dial, in polished pilot’s watch cases. The G38 Day-Date reads the day of the week beside the date, in a stainless steel case 42 mm in diameter and 14 mm thick.
Under a K1 safety mineral crystal, a Japanese Miyota 8205 automatic movement drives the hands. A see-through case back reveals the rotor, which winds a 40-hour power reserve.
Silver luminous numerals and indices mark the dark blue dial, joined by luminous hands. A dark blue leather strap, 22 mm at the lugs, is secured by a pin buckle.

What kind of watch is the Aviation G38?
An analog pilot’s watch from the Aviation line, with silver numerals and indices that glow at night and luminous hands on every dial of the line.
Where is it made?
In Ruhla, Thuringia, where precision parts have been made since 1862 and watches since 1892, and where the VEB Uhrenwerk Ruhla once built millions of watches. POINTtec, the family company founded in 1987 that designs every model in-house, assembles them in its own listed Bauhaus building of 1929, which is also home to the Ruhla watch museum. The movement is Japanese.
Can I swim with it?
The case is rated to 10 bar, enough for swimming, and the leather strap sets the limit — water soaks into leather and breaks it down. Keep the watch to rain and hand-washing, and fit a rubber or metal strap of the same lug width before swimming.
How long does it run when it is not worn?
A full wind delivers about a 40-hour power reserve. Daily wear keeps it wound, and after a longer rest about 15 turns of the crown restart it.
What is K1 mineral crystal?
A specially hardened mineral crystal that Bauhaus uses for its scratch resistance in daily wear. It is tougher than standard mineral crystal, and sapphire is harder still.

How returns work. Just let us know and we'll email you a prepaid DHL Express return label — you never have to arrange a shipment or pay anything up front. The return cost is deducted from your refund. If the piece arrived damaged or wasn't what you ordered, the return is on us.
