    Friday Outfit: Black

    Hello everyone!

One week more we bring you our Friday Outfits about a new primary colour:  black. That´s why we would like to show show you some black fountain pens and other items we have in stock and other products of this colour.

In Greek, black is written mélas and its union with the word colé (yellow) means melancholy. This is due to in the past it was believed melancholics had black blood.

The black colour is associated with power, elegance, secrecy and mystery. It is a colour which represents sophistication.

Before talking about the selected products, let us see some curiosities about the black colour:

    - Black is considered as the absence of color and that is why during years of Impressionism, it was decided black was not a colour and was forbidden in painting. However, some artists as Auguste Renoir, considered black as the king of all colours.

    - Also Van Gogh believed "black and white have their reason and their meaning, and whoever suppresses them, has nothing to do in painting.

    - The deepest black known in a earth material is the one with the velvet one. - Black was the first colour used in automobiles. Although Henry Ford considered any colour would look good in a car, for several decades the colour of the famous Ford T was black.

Now, there are some of the black fountain pens of Iguana Sell we have chosen and other black products for the picture.

All the pieces are available on our website and in our boutique in C / Nuñez de Balboa, 90 Madrid. Do not hesitate to come and visit us whenever you wish. It will be a pleasure to welcome you!

    Have a nice weekend!

    Greetings,
