I like the look and build of the Aurora EDO. The yellow resin is bright and eye-catching, the trim is handsome, and the pen is comfortable to write with. The stub nib, unfortunately, did not work out of the box. It was impossible to write a single word without hard starts and railroading, even with inks known for generous flow. In order to produce a consistent line I had to resort to "reverse writing" with the nib flipped over. This was not quite a deal breaker, since I often prefer the slightly crisper line produced by reverse writing with stub nibs, but I expected a properly tuned nib to start with.
