Since the 1950s, the "Duo Cart myth" has been famous for being the first ballpoint pen with a double cartridge and hooded nib. The design from that era has become characteristic, so the Aurora company has decided to reinterpret it by designing a pen for the occasion with this typical conical design from the 1950s, aimed at vintage enthusiasts but with a keen eye on the future.
The fountain pen's body is made of light blue resin, with black in the grip section, contrasting with the cap and chrome-plated trims, and featuring a chrome-plated stainless steel nib.
Pen recipient was extremely pleased. It’s hard to find this pen, many thanks for stocking it. Also, we probably just got lucky, but the pen arrived a full week earlier than estimated.

An OK pen
I received this pen in a relatively large though vintage looking box. The pen is quite attractive with its hooded nib configuration. However, for me it’s just a bit short to write with unposted and unfortunately it doesn’t post well.
With Pelikan Tanzanite ink the nib performed well on Tamoe River paper which is a tad more absorbent than the Rhodia notebook paper that it didn’t do well with. I wouldn’t personally purchase this pen again since I bought it as a potential everyday carry pen.
