The new Esterbrook Estie Nouveau Bleu pays homage to the early 19th century Czech artist Alphonse Mucha. He became famous for his idealized female figures that were often based on Parisian movie stars and celebrities, and his work included his years of studying, drawing and painting the actress and movie icon, Sarah Bernhardt. He used the color blue as with the aim of illuminating the skies, giving wings and surrounding with waves of water. The piece is offered in gold and chrome finishes. The body material is is a mix of Mucha blues and a highly polished finish.
