The Namiki Nippon Art Ukiyo-e Shobei Odera fountain pen represents a sacred archer who stole ancestral money from Lord Yoritomo, dedicated to the Gokuraku Temple in Kamakura. He is depicted in blue to express his ability to choose his target and await the right opportunity. Ukiyo-e, or "Floating World Image," represents a Japanese artistic movement from the Edo period (1603-1868) that encompasses not only original popular and narrative painting but also, and especially, all Japanese woodblock prints.
I found Iguana really friendly, helpful and efficient to both buy the pen and when I had a query - very quick to respond. The pen is gorgeous and I’m now using it every day.
